Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries

These are a great dessert option and especially perfect for parties!

Ingredients

  • 30 medium Strawberries
  • 5.6 oz (2 bars) Lily's Extra Dark Chocolate 70%
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut Oil

Directions

  1. Wash and dry strawberries. Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping, otherwise the chocolate won’t stick well and it will whiten as it hardens.
  2. Break the chocolate bars into little pieces and place in a microwavable bowl with the coconut oil.
  3. Microwave chocolate and oil in 10 second increments, stirring each time, until it’s nice and smooth.
  4. One at a time, dip each strawberry in the melted chocolate and set on a piece of parchment paper.
  5. After you’ve done all of them, dip each strawberry a second time to give it a thick coat.
  6. Refrigerate for an hour or until hardened.
